Summary:
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is responsible for assisting the nurse manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit. In collaboration with the nurse manager, assumes 24|7 responsibility for the management and staffing of the unit. The ANM manages and coordinates the unit, directs and supervises functions and activities, interprets policies|procedures|protocols, standards, and regulations as appropriate. The scope of responsibility spans all aspects of nursing care. The ANM maintains clinical competence and certifications to assist the unit when required.

Experience:
3 years - Clinical experience in an acute care hospital or Acute Rehabilitation facility required.
Charge Nurse|Relief Charge Nurse experience preferred.
Recent Leadership experiencepreferred.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree - Nursing, within 3 years of accepting positionrequired.

Credentials | Licensure:
California Registered Nurse License upon hirerequired.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hirerequired.
Specialty certification SCRN upon hirepreferred.
