The Business Analyst 3 at the Texas Education Agency (TEA) supports multiple projects aimed at improving outcomes for Texas students. This senior-level role involves eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and system requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
The Business Analyst acts as the bridge between stakeholders and development teams , ensuring clear communication of project requirements, business process re-engineering, and software process flow improvements. The BA is responsible for creating detailed user stories, use cases, wireframes, and mockups aligned with business analysis and UX best practices .
Upon the establishment of the requirements baseline, the role shifts toward managing requirements specifications and verifying implementation . This includes overseeing post-implementation enhancements and ongoing project support.
