Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter information into databases and software programs using keyboards, optical scanners, or by transcribing audio and video content.
Review and process source documents, such as checks, sales reports, or invoices, ensuring data is entered into the correct fields.
Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before inputting it into systems.
Compare entered data with source documents to identify and correct errors, and report issues as needed.
Maintain detailed records and logs of completed work.
Follow organizational procedures to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
Prioritize data entry tasks based on organizational guidelines or guidance from team leaders.
Verify and update customer and account data by reviewing and correcting information.
Remove duplicate data and manage file purges to keep data clean and organized.
Perform regular database backups to secure information.
Uphold customer confidence by handling information with discretion and confidentiality.
Continuously seek ways to enhance data collection processes, including improving forms and templates.
Operate office equipment as necessary to support data entry tasks.
Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and contribute to team success.
Requirements:

Previous experience in data entry, clerical work, or a similar office setting.
Basic computer skills.
Familiarity with data entry software or cloud storage systems is a plus.
