Full Time Live-In Special Needs Nanny/Manny or RBT $62,400-$72,800 per year

Seeking a dedicated live-in special needs nanny or manny for a family with three active boys, ages 8, 10, and 13. The ideal candidate should be experienced in behavioral management, has experience working with children with ADHD and ODD (Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) is a behavioral disorder that causes children to have a pattern of defiant, uncooperative, and hostile behavior toward authority figures, parents, teachers, and peers) and has a positive, active approach. A male nanny ("manny") is preferred to provide a positive male role model for the children. Must be comfortable around pets, there are 3 dogs at the home. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and structured care for three boys, all diagnosed with ADHD.
• Utilize behavioral management techniques to support the boys’ needs, ensuring consistency with therapy goals.
• Use the provided family car to transport the children to school, sports activities, and appointments.
• Assist with maintaining the boys’ routines and daily schedules. Light household duties related to the children, such as preparing meals and ensuring a tidy living environment.
• Assist with the care of three family dogs as needed.

• Occasionally provide care while the mother travels (up to 8 nights per month). Ensure the children’s schedules are maintained and the household runs smoothly during these times.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience working with children with ADHD and ODD.
• Behavior Specialist Certification.
• Special needs background preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving children to activities.
• Strong communication skills, patience, and a structured approach to managing behavioral challenges.
• Positive, active, and able to serve as a role model for the children, particularly in sports and physical activities.
• Non-smoker.

• Able to provide 3-5 professional references.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive pay: $30-35 per hour.
• Full-time, guaranteed 40 hours per week.
• Live-in accommodation: A private apartment within the home.
• Use of a family car for transporting children.
