You’ll be instrumental in identifying lucrative bidding opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and ensuring smooth transactions from start to finish.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify government bidding opportunities using platforms such as DIBBS and Govspend.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and competitive bids for acquiring government contracts.
  • Execute efficient purchasing strategies to fulfill contractual obligations on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations by staying updated on relevant laws.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with overall organizational goals.
  • Monitor and address challenges that arise during the execution of awarded contracts.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sourcing government contracts and preparing bids.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement platforms and processes.
  • Knowledge of best purchasing practices.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or within a team.
  • Previous experience in a government contract role preferred.
  • Familiarity with platforms like DIBBS and Govspend is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a buying role related to contract fulfillment.
