Harbor Audiology & Hearing Services, is a privately-owned Audiology practice in the beautiful PNW! We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Billing Supervisor to add to our team in several locations and would love to speak with you.

Over the past 25 years at Harbor Audiology, we have been treating individuals with hearing loss and tinnitus using the best hearing technology available. Listening to and understanding the difficulties of not only our patients, but also those they communicate with regularly, is essential to our success because hearing loss affects more than just one person.

The Billing Supervisor is a vital member of a highly customer service-oriented practice who acts as an advocate for patient and practice when liaising with health insurance companies.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and submitting claims to insurance
• Investigating and correcting denied claims
• Identifying and resolving billing questions and complaints
• Processing payments from insurance companies and patients
• Answering billing/payment related questions from insurance companies and patients
• Checking insurance eligibility to include referral requirements and authorizations
• Credentialing of providers and new locations
• Generate monthly and quarterly reports
• Adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations

Skills:

• organized, detail oriented, ethical, self-motivated, and able to multi-task
• Knowledge of health insurance plans & coverage
• Knowledge of credentialing
• Significant experience in medical billing is REQUIRED
• Experience with CMS software and clearing houses is REQUIRED.
• Understanding of accounting software such as QuickBooks preferred
• Strong computational skills
• An extreme attention to detail
• Ability to be productive without oversight

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000-$90,000 per year

Schedule:

Education:

• Some college education (degree preferred)
• Billing and Coding certification (Preferred)

Experience:

• ICD-10: 2 year (Required)
• Medical Billing: 5 years+ REQUIRED
• Audiology specialty billing experience (preferred)

Work Location: In person, may consider remote position for the right person
