Skurnik Wines & Spirits is seeking a self-motivated, timely, enthusiastic Spirits professional to assist with the weekly performance of spirits retail shop “In-Store” Tastings, Thursday-Saturday, beginning September 1st 2024.

Hours:
o Part-Time (Form 1099-MISC)
o Thursday-Saturday (as available)
o Approximately 4pm-8pm (varies by day and tasting scheduled)

Compensation : $150/tasting + $20 per diem (travel & other tasting materials)
•  Required brand trainings (as applicable): $40/hour (1-3 hours per training)
•  Note: If a customer or Skurnik cancels a scheduled tastings with less than 24hr notice and we are unable to provide an alternative tasting, you will receive the $150/tasting fee.

Additional Responsibilities:
o Develop and maintain detailed product knowledge, and enthusiasm for craft spirits, on par with the standards of the Skurnik Spirits team.
o Retrieve samples and other tasting materials/ingredients from Skurnik office (if applicable).
o Cost of samples and certain cocktailing materials/tools provided by Skurnik.
o Prepare and serve cocktails which demonstrate products in a compelling, approachable format.
o Educate shop staff on products and brands shown during the tasting.
o Visually audit and record retail shelves as it pertains to poured/tasted items.
o Promptly fill out a detailed recap form following each tasting.
