The work, and what you'll do:
Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for building high-performing teams? This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team delivering critical support for the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Trade (OT). Our client is particularly seeking candidates with a proven track record of success in workforce and succession planning. This role is ideal for a highly motivated and results-oriented leader who thrives in a collaborative environment.
You'll be responsible for managing a large IDIQ contract, providing strategic guidance and expertise in three key areas:
-Workforce and Succession Planning: Develop and implement strategies to ensure CBP OT has the right talent in place to achieve its mission.
-Data-Driven Strategy & Analytics: Leverage data insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimize CBP OT's operations.
-Business Transformation: Lead and manage initiatives that modernize CBP OT's processes and technology for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
What you'll need:
-A Master's degree and over ten (10) years of experience, with at least 5+ years of Program Management experience.
-Clearance - CBP Background Investigation within the past 12 months (preferred) or Top Secret (also within the past 12 months).
-PMP or similar certification is strongly preferred.
-Experience overseeing data science and analytic efforts preferred.
Clearance requirement: CBP Background Investigation within the past 12 months are strongly preferred or Top Secret (within the past 12 months) will also be considered
Location: Role is primarily REMOTE with periodic onsite requirements within the DC Metro. Candidates must be local (with 1-2 hours of DC) for consideration.
