Hours: 5:00AM - 1:30P M-F
Pay: $17/hr

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Food Packaging Workers to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the packaging and delivery of fresh fruits and deli foods in a cold environment for sale in stores. This position requires working in a freezer area to ensure the freshness and quality of the products.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee packaging teams quality of production and delivery into appropriate containers for retail sale.
• Ensure all packaging meets company standards for quality and presentation.
• Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor product quality and report any issues.
• Label packages accurately with product information and expiration dates.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (freezer area).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Previous experience in food packaging or a similar role is preferred.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
