Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Salary: $150k-$225k 
Requirements: 5+ Years of experience as a Litigation Associate.

Position Overview:

A Corporate Real Estate Transactional Attorney is responsible for providing legal counsel and support to corporations in all aspects of real estate transactions. This includes advising on acquisitions, sales, leasing, and development of commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of real estate laws and regulations, as well as experience working in a corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise corporations on the legal aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and development
• Negotiate and draft contracts, leases, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions
• Analyze and review title reports, surveys, and other due diligence materials
• Assist with property due diligence and evaluation of potential risks and liabilities
• Provide legal support for real estate financing and refinancing transactions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance and operations, to ensure real estate transactions align with business goals and objectives
• Stay current on real estate laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide proactive legal counsel and support
• Manage outside counsel and other professionals involved in real estate transactions
• Handle any legal disputes or issues related to real estate transactions

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the state where the corporation is located
• Minimum of 5 years experience practicing real estate law, preferably in a corporate setting
• Strong understanding of real estate laws and regulations
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills
• Experience managing and working with outside counsel
• Ability to analyze complex legal documents and provide practical recommendations to non-legal stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic corporate environment
