This position will be handling software designs and will develop software applications. A successful candidate will have experience troubleshooting electrical and controls systems including, instrumentation, data communications and electrical wiring.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designs and develops software applications
• Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting through the application development process
• Participates in the software design through design reviews, problem solving support, analytical support, design process, and design tools
• Demonstrates ability to work cross functionally for hardware and software

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in "object oriented" code, C/C++/C#, JAVA, Python, VB.net and/or embedded software development
• Min of 5 years experience within power electronics
• Experience or the ability to code in IEC61131-Structured Text using CodeSys but specific knowledge of those is less important than solid object-oriented coding skills
• Strong working knowledge of real-time control applications, normally done by an Arduino or a PLC

including instrumentation, data communications, and electrical wiring practices with strong electrical print reading

• Great Customer Service and Leadership Skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to obtain government security clearance
• C+ or C++ experience preferred
• Hardware experience is a benefit
• Travel up to 30% is possible
