Role Overview:

As a Staff Accountant, you'll be a key player in our back-office support team, helping to ensure the financial accuracy and compliance of our various companies. You'll primarily work remotely, with occasional in-person team meetings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep our financial records accurate, handle reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and update financial records for multiple entities within our portfolio.
- Perform bank reconciliations, manage accounts payable and receivable, and handle month-end close procedures.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax filing processes.
- Work with internal teams to address financial queries and resolve discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and help optimize financial operations.
- Contribute to various ad-hoc financial projects as needed.

What We're Looking For:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or back-office setting.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
