Job Description

Fishman, Larsen & Callister has an opening for a full-time temporary Receptionist / File Clerk in its Fresno office. This position will be responsible for front office reception duties, administrative support, maintaining physical and digital filing systems, operating office equipment, and completing general office work.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Managing phone system and incoming calls;
• Preparing correspondence, memoranda, reports and other documents;
• Assisting with accounts payables (AP) & accounts receivables (AR);
• Managing the master calendar;
• Communicating with clients, verbally and in writing;
• Maintaining client files including gathering and indexing;
• Maintaining office and breakroom supplies and cleanliness;
• Providing exemplary service to clients;
• Respond to questions regarding records and files;
• Handle documents and tasks related to faxing, archiving, scanning, filing, and word processing within specified guidelines, order high volume of letters, memoranda, invoices, and other indexed documents; and
• Offer assistance as necessary to other employees on diverse projects.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum three years of administrative experience in a professional environment-or-bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field of study;
• Industry (legal) experience;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Pro;
• Knowledge of Zoom and other conferencing platforms;
• Familiar with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter);
• Knowledge of standard office equipment;
• Strong organizational skills; with an ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail;
• The ability to maintain strict confidentiality;
• Critical thinking skills;
• Experience with Prolaw and Tabs, is a plus.

The position offers a competitive salary between $18-$20 per hour. Temporary to start but may become a permanent role based on performance.
